April 4th, 2011Autism Treatment Center of Newtown Square staff took part in the Variety Club’s 5th Annual Walk for Awareness, Resources and Education (AWARE) on April 3, 2011 at Plymouth Meeting Mall. The walk was to benefit Variety’s Autism Resource Center, Variety’s Autism Resource Center which provides information and support through parent workshops, a resource line, teen social skills groups, sibling groups, special autism-specific and family-friendly events, and weekend retreats.
ATCNTS Exhibits at Please Touch Museum Variety Club Autism Awareness Night
April 3rd, 2011Staff members of the Autism Awareness Center of Newtown Square were on hand April 2, 2011 at the Philadelphia Variety Club’s second annual Autism Awareness Night at the Please Touch Museum. Attendees and parents of Autistic children were were able to obtain information from the resource table and speak personally with therapy providers. The Variety Club is one of Philadelphia’s leading children’s charities.

HBTUSA Medical Director to Lecture on HBOT for Chronic Diabetic Ulcers
March 22nd, 2011Pat Elliott, M.D., F.A.C.S. will lecture on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in the Treatment of Chronic Diabetic Foot Ulcers on March 24, 2011 as part of a continuing education presentation for area podiatrists. The meeting is co-sponsored by The Goldfarb Foundation and the Delaware Divsision of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association (PPMA) and will take place at the Newtown Grill, Newtown Square, PA. Attending physicians will receive continuing education contact hour credit. HBTUSA was also featured in the March 2011 of the Goldfarb Foundation Newsletter Exhibitor Spotlight.
Hyperbaric Therapy USA Part of Healing Heroes Network
March 19th, 2011Hyperbaric Therapy USA has joined the Healing Heroes Network as a hyperbaric oxygen therapy provider. Healing Heroes Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical treatment to U.S. armed service personnel who have been injured during active duty.
